The Primary Care Occupational Therapy Service is available within your GP surgery

Occupational therapists help people to manage everyday activities (occupations) that matter to them. This includes activities:

  • At Home: dressing, bathing, cooking, hobbies
  • At Work: paid work, volunteering, education, carer roles
  • In the Community: getting about, shopping, socialising, being active

Are any of the following affecting how you manage the day to day activities that matter to you?

  • Anxiety or low mood
  • Fear of falling
  • Work life balance
  • Frailty
  • Fatigue
  • Feeling isolated
  • Pain

  • Low self esteem

If the answer is yes and you are 16 or over, you may be able to refer yourself to the occupational therapist in your GP practice.  You can speak to one of the team on 01698 755175 or email [email protected]
