Training

We may have medical students in the final rotation of their university course. The students will always be supervised and will not be allowed to diagnose or treat patients on their own, although they may conduct the initial part of the consultation alone.

There is no obligation to allow a student to be present when you see a doctor. However, we appeciate your help in their training.

Practice Manager

Marion Anderson
The practice manager can advise on administrative and non-medical matters and will be pleased to hear any suggestions to improve the service or any complaints.

Practice Nurses

Staff Nurse Nancy McGoldrick RN BA Dip Ed, Dip DDCM, Dip Diabetes
Sister Sweenie

The practice nurses run asthma and diabetic clinics in conjunction with the doctors. They are also happy to advise on travel and to provide vaccinations. New patients are invited for a brief medical that is also carried out by our practice nurses. They are also involved in health promotion and you should contact them for well-person check-ups and help in giving up smoking and losing weight.
